We create structures for successful communication

It is our firm belief that robust structures are a fundamental prerequisite for successful corporate communications. Yet often those organizations aren't really the result of rational analysis and planning, but rather have evolved organically over the years - with all the respective complexities and inconsistencies.

Here, we bring our own extensive experience to the table to help our clients drafting, create and manage international communications teams including their adequate structures, processes and staffing.

A defined process from analysis to implementation

Gartner Communications applies a tested process to develop or optimize an internal PR organization with the objective, to create the most adequate solution for the individual client.

An initial workshop will tackle, for example, the following questions:

  • What does the C-suite expect from the communications team - and are those expecatations adequate?
  • What has the organization delivered so far, what should it deliver in the future?
  • Which functions should be integrated, which should be separated?
  • What qualifications do existing team members have, how do they match future requirements?
  • Are there duplications, or gaps?
  • How do reporting lines look like?
  • What sort of infrastructure is available, what would ideally be needed?
  • How to create economies of scale?
  • What to keep in-house, what should be outsourced?

Starting from here, we develop what we call an "ideal scenario", which then - together with the client - is transferred into a realistic blueprint step by step.
This process includes strategic considerations just as well as arguments related to saving potentials or levels of internal acceptance. Once the blueprint has been made, we are there to support its implementation, from drawing org charts to drafting job descriptions.
